The lift was so quick taking us up to the top level. Walking around Skypoint, you get to see sides of the Gold Coast that you didn’t know existed. Jamie felt like king of the coast up here. Would be a great place to have a few drinks and a bite to eat whilst enjoying the beautiful views

If you are looking at going on an important date like "Earth Day", check if you will be able to go on that date so you are not disappointed. We booked to stay at the Gold Coast in 2012 for that night, go to dinner and go to Skypoint for sunset and to see how Surfers looked when a lot of places put their lights out. We declined an offer of 1/2 dinner at our hotel, so we could have an early dinner and go to Skypoint. We arrived at Skypoint to find a sign to say they were "closed for a private function" I even went to their website to check if they had noted that they woudl be closed on that date - NOTHING

I am a local and have again purchased the annual pass. It is an excellent place for meeting friends for a drink; a casual business meetings and of course for visitors. It is overlooked by many locals. The best time is at dusk if you want to see the changing colours from day to night. And is far superior to Eureka tower in Melbourne as much more information provided, more to see, area to move and a film on the history of the Coast.
